Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Industry know how-
    • Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Tyres and Steel Wheel Rims (including Steel)
    • Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, cost drivers, manufacturing knowledge of Tyres and Steel Wheel Rim will be added advantage
  • Cost Reduction and Negotiation Skills:
    • Knowledge of Tyres and Steel Wheel Rims and techno-commercial details about the same
    • Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE
  • Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution
  • Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit and compliance
  • Legal knowledge is added advantage – supplier contract management
  • Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:
    • Basic understanding of suppliers' balance sheets for commercial negotiations.
    • Basic understanding and risk indicators of suppliers to mitigate potential risks to the supply chain.
  • Benchmarking Technology and Prices:
    • Conduct benchmarking studies to compare technology and prices across the industry.
    • Use benchmarking data to inform decision-making and ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Supplier Risk Management:
    • Develop and execute supplier risk management and mitigation plans.
    • Proactively identify potential risks and take steps to minimize their impact on the supply chain.
