Job Description

The Test Engineer is responsible for performing testing and measurements on timing system products in line with Morse Global Engineering Procedures and Processes. The role supports Application Engineers in meeting customer testing requirements through accurate data acquisition, analysis, and reporting in an R&D environment involving IC engines and low‑voltage electrical equipment.

• Perform testing and measurements on test rigs and IC engines.
• Prepare engine instrumentation and assemble sensors such as load cells, pressure sensors, LVDTs, and accelerometers at customer locations.
• Acquire engine data using data acquisition systems such as PDAS, iAsys, AVL‑PUMA, etc.
• Calibrate sensors (load cell, pressure sensor, LVDT) and maintain calibration reports.
• Operate and maintain high‑speed rotary fatigue and strength testing machines involving motors and hydraulics.
• Coordinate with designers for preparation of test fixtures.
• Plan, track, and manage testing workloads to ensure effective utilization of test equipment.
• Analyze and interpret test results; prepare reports and communicate findings to customers.
• Collaborate with multinational teams to resolve technical issues and obtain clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System requirements and support continual improvement in energy performance.
