
Roles & Responsibilities:
OEM Business
• Act as the primary technical interface for major OEM customers (Enercon, Nordex, GE Vernova, Vestas, SGRE).
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to design, quality, and delivery.
• Review, negotiate, and communicate engineering and QA specifications internally.
• Support project planning, prototype execution, and serial production readiness.
• Review and correct technical documents (drafts, calculations, assembly/maintenance instructions).
• Build business cases including cost, price, profitability, packaging, logistics, and warranty.
• Provide technical input to Sales Account Managers.
• Coordinate and participate in customer audits, first article inspections, and technical visits.
• Maintain PPAP/APQP4Wind documentation and handle deviation requests.
• Lead customer claim handling, RCA, corrective actions, and 8D reports.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with engineering and purchasing teams.
• Support discussions with certification bodies (TÜV, DNV, UL, etc.).
• Create product inquiries and inquiry article codes in SharePoint, Windchill, and CRM.
Aftermarket Business
• Identify suitable and alternative drive components using OEM references, competitor data, or customer inputs.
• Advise customers on transport protection, storage conditions, installation parameters, lubrication, and maintenance intervals.
• Clarify scope of supply and recommend additional parts when needed.
• Create new aftermarket spare part entries and coordinate low-volume or reactivated production.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Connect engineering, purchasing, production, planning, and sales to align timelines and deliverables.
• Lead internal and customer meetings to track project progress.
• Coordinate various audits (capacity, EHS, process, QMS) and ensure readiness.
• Serve as the central technical point for design, maintenance, transport, storage, and turbine interface topics.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Additional certification in Quality Management or Project Management is beneficial.
• APQP4Wind Specialist certification is highly preferred.
