This level of experience equips you with a comprehensive understanding of complete supply chain cycles, including procurement strategy formulation, supplier relationship building, and inventory management. Your background should reflect successful navigation of complex, global supply networks and an ability to manage fluctuations in market demands and financial pressures.
Proven leadership in directing cross-functional teams, overseeing large-scale initiatives, and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups is essential to excel in this dynamic role.
Essential experience for this position includes prior leadership experience as Head of Buyer operations across multiple geographical hubs and manufacturing facilities, demonstrating capability in managing extensive supplier ecosystems, executing procurement strategies at scale, and ensuring alignment of purchasing activities with corporate goals.
Expertise in Cost Price Performance Control (CPPC) and logistics management is mandatory, evidencing your grasp of cost control methodologies and the intricacies of supply chain logistics. Experience in steering digitisation and analytics-driven transformations within supply chain management or its functional subsets is crucial, underscoring your aptitude for driving innovation and operational enhancements through technology integration.
Furthermore, hands-on experience overseeing supplier networks at a national scale is vital to guarantee supply chain resilience and effective risk management.
