Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables


•In depth Warranty Parts failure analysis
•Participate in DFMEA & provide inputs related to past failures/ anticipated failures
•Warranty Parts clearance/Scrutiny of each claim/Give feedback to Dealers in case of any Discrepency in claim.
•Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy benchmark manufacturing processes and implement ICA actions.
•Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits along with SQE Team
•Ensure Lessons learned from other product families are share with the platform team (Design, Process, etc) for new product development as input for prevention of repeat/ known issues
•Ensure Advanced Quality Tools for Problem solving like Fault Tree Anlsysis/DMAC/DOE etc.
•Visit to Dealers for critical cases investigation & Understanding of Product issue.
•Ensure Horizontal deployments of actions taken across models.
•Enhance technical capabilities of Dealer through systems and knowledge upgradations by arranging training sessions.
•Provide Technical solutions/Releasing Diagnosis Procedure/TSB etc.
•Should Handle the Product TAR & Provide satisfactory closure on time.
•Releasing Monthly Field Performace of suppliers to Senior Management.
•Failure Data analysis & Dashboard preparation.
•Daily monitoring of field complaints & effectiveness of actions taken
•Prepare & Release CCR (Concern Closing Report)
•Participate & contribute in vehicle RGA Trials during new models launch.
•Team Player & Ready to Travel across India in shorter time duration.
•Taking internal actions along with agencies with MQA/PQA for improving internal processes
•Undertaking proactive reliability & durability projects.

Experience

12 - 15 years - ME/BE Mechanical/Automobile engineering.

Manufacturing process knowledge and product application knowledge of Automotive HVAC and Engine Support System components including HVAC Unit, Compressor,Actuator Motor,Heat Exchangers,Climate control Module & Intended softwares, Radiator & Rubber Hoses, Air Intake system & Intercooler hoses,Fuel system components,Exhaust system Mfg.Process & welding Defects.

Experience in Manufacturing process development, process audits, quality/problem solving tools,DFMEA & PFMEA.
Ability to take strong positions and not bow to pressure, high level of analytical ability & Mastery in data anlytical skill.

CRE/Six Sigma/MGB Certification is preferable
