  • Responsible for Estimating the ZBC/SBC of Part or System.
  • Strong knowledge in part production cycle times, material utilization and Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Must be well verse with manufacturing process and key cost driver to each process Value stream Mapping
  • Apply standard costing procedures for Product/Process & review cost structures from time to time.
  • Responsible for the development and long-term ownership of cost estimating models for Parts and Tools
  • Making Business case proposal with Platform Team.
  • Able to Set target cost for vendor onboarding aligning Business Case.
  • Support Engineering and Purchasing in evaluating design proposals and supplier quotations
  • Should be good in tracking cost elements at different stage of product development.
  • Implement, maintain and update associated cost analysis with real time quotes or valid technical data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and complexity

IMCR / VAVE: -

  • Support part level costing for competitor vehicle teardown exercises for benchmarking purposes.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities along with process efficiency improvements.
  • Cost evaluation for VAVE proposals
  • Cost Estimation for Make Vs Buy decision

Industry Preference: -

  • Previous working experience in the manufacturing industry like Automotive, Commercial vehicle , Tractor & Industrial engines

Others: -

  • A passion for understanding emerging technologies and subsequent key cost drivers
  • Analytical ability to solve problems that are unique and sometimes complex
  • Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering background
  • Familiar with product structure, model viewing & measurements.
  • Ability to design and implement new cost reports
  • Work with Cross functional teams for high performance and able to drive inclusive culture.
  • Close working with Inter department teams to support on supplier related Points
  • Supplier contract/agreement management.
  • Travelling within country - 20% of time or as needed

Qualification: Engineering (Mechanical /Electrical)

Post graduate MBA/management will be an added advantage.

Experience: - 10-14 Years (No gap)

Work location:- Rehlko Energy India Pvt. LTD. Chikalthana MIDC ,Ch. Sambhaji Nagar.

Desired characteristics:

  • IT skills, including MS Office /SAP; must have experience with an integrated purchasing
  • Experienced and industry knowledge within the mentioned manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in functional areas of Operations, including Planning, Purchasing, Distribution.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills, contracting expertise, & strong business acumen.
  • Working knowledge of sourcing procure to pay process.
  • Knowledge of PLANT OPERATIONS.

· Excellent time management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and ability to perform cost assessment and analysis.
