Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

The Deputy Manager - Process Engineering in Tractor Assembly will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle of raw materials and components essential for manufacturing new products and enhancing existing services. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed market research to identify potential suppliers of materials, chemicals, adhesives, and packaging products. Education Qualification

General Experience

The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of robust experience in process engineering, procurement, or supplier management within the automotive or related manufacturing industries. This experience should encompass hands-on involvement in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, quality assurance, and project management in a dynamic production environment.

Experience working cross-functionally with engineering design, quality control, and operations teams is crucial, with a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and driving process optimization initiatives. Candidates who demonstrate agility, accountability, and a passion for continuous improvement within fast-paced manufacturing settings will thrive in this role.

Critical Experience

Critical experience includes expertise in negotiation strategies, supplier selection and evaluation criteria, and contract management specific to automotive manufacturing processes. Proficiency in overseeing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality assurance protocols, and conducting trend and market analyses tailored to raw material and component sourcing is essential.

The candidate should be adept at anticipating market shifts and supply chain risks, leveraging a global mindset to identify innovative sourcing solutions. Familiarity with sustainability drivers and frugal innovation principles that align with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd's leadership competencies will significantly enhance the candidate's effectiveness in this role.

Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-stakeholder projects, driving change as a catalyst, and taking responsible risks to achieve superior procurement outcomes will be highly valued.
