Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Roles & Responsibilities

To build and sustain 6 Sigma Quality culture in M&M outbound Logistics Function. This role aims at continious improvement in logistics quality Kpis and improvement in Dealer Satisfaction Survey.

Dealer -Pre Sales claims Management

  • To ensure sustainable reduction in Pre sales claim ratios and unclean POD %
  • To monitor damages in vehicles , conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive action plans.
  • To verify Pre sales claims and share feed back with CCM/ Dealers for any abnormality
  • To be able to segregate patterns in defects from random defects and share with respective plant teams for RCA/ PA
  • To conduct benchmark studies and improve current processes

Outbound Logistics Processes

  • Complete ownership of outbound logistics processes for first time right and every time right results
  • Conduct regular visits to dealers, RSOs, and yards to gather feedback and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Development and implementation of training programmes for drivers and field staff
  • Must have good knowledge on handling MACT/Theft and legal case

Transporter & Vendor Management

  • Select and manage transport vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with logistics teams, logistics service providers and mfg teams

MIS

  • Must have good knoweldge on Qlik Sense, Power BI, Dashboards
  • Must be able to handle large database files

Education Qualification

Diploma in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering OR Degree in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering, MBA

General Experience

Logistics/ Sales Planning, Experience of 5-6 years
