Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Adequate knowledge and experience in New Product Development (NPD) systems and processes for Vehicle Development Programs.
  • Good understanding of complete vehicle systems including Chassis, Suspension, Steering, Braking System, Powertrain, Electrical & Electronic Systems, HVAC, Body & Trim Systems.
  • Lead and coordinate Quality Planning activities across vehicle development projects throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate and deploy APQP, DFMEA, Design Reviews, Risk Analysis, DVP&R and Reliability Planning.
  • Drive identification, assessment and mitigation of product risks during concept, design, development, validation and launch phases.
  • Formulate Quality Targets for new vehicle programs and evaluate achievement through reviews and corrective actions.
  • Generate Quality Status reports for Senior Management highlighting key risks and mitigation plans.
  • Develop and deploy Product Reliability Plans for vehicle programs.
  • Review vehicle and system-level validation plans covering Functional, Performance, Durability and Regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality workshops and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
