
Roles and Responsibiliies
• Handson experience in development & testing 48V systems for Motor controller /Inverter application (Power level- 5KW, 8KW, 10KW, 12KW, 15KW)
• Testing for analog & digital circuit, good understanding on microcontroller peripherals
• Component selection for passive, active and high power devices (MOSFET[Si, SiC,GaN], DC Link capacitor, Gate drivers)
• Device characterisations of Mosfet with Double pulse test (DPT)
• Manufacturing line readiness for new products (PCBA assembly process, EOL testing procedure, Calibration setup and Supplier interactions)
• EOL testing procedure, Calibration setup and Supplier interactions
• Simulation analysis for time & frequency domain, tolerance, derating analysis
• MTTF, MTBF and Reliability calculations
• Understanding on Digital Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, RS232, SPI, I2C etc.
• PCB layout, component placement and guidelines experience as per standards (IPC 2221, IPC 6012, IPC-A-610)
• EMI/EMC pre compliance testing as per AIS-004, CISPR25, ISO11452
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for effective product readiness
• Experience in automated testing, verification & validation tools (Oscilloscope, Power analyser, Power supplies)
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills, enthusiasm to perform and learn new activities
• Perform Dyno test validations for functional and reliability of Motor control unit.
• Documentation of test activities, procedure, test setup arrangements
• Travel across test facilities, manufacturing plant and vendor assembly locations
