Job Description

Requirements:

  • Qualification: B.E Textile/Industrial & Manufacturing
  • Experience: at least 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all production operations within the Knitting department, ensuring 100% On-Time-In-Full shipment. 

  • Lead the Business Planning department activities, including demand forecasting, production planning, and monitoring to streamline workflows.
  • Coordinate efficiently with all internal departments (from yarn plying to shipping) to ensure a smooth and effective supply chain process.
  • Utilize the Apex One knit design system to design and program garments according to customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify programming errors and other software-related issues to maintain production continuity.
  • Act as the primary facilitator for current knitting department customers, ensuring timely responses and enhancing knowledge sharing to boost customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively search for and identify new potential customers in the market in coordination with Key Account Managers.
  • Manage all customer queries regarding current orders, forecasts, and ongoing projects.
  • Analyze departmental performance to identify and address gaps, transforming the department into a mainstream business unit.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, product qualifiers, and other necessary documentation.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture by conducting trainings, implementing procedures, and ensuring all operations adhere to safety responsibilities.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive monthly reports to top management on sales, running projects, and key customer updates.
