1) Conducting monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly maintenance and testing of fixed fire fighting installation and first aid fire fighting equipment’s.
2) Conducting fire fighting trainings, live demonstration for plant employees & contract employees .
3) To prepare training module for employees and contract employees
4) To prepare contingency plan for shop wise emergency.
5) To conduct monthly mock drill with co-ordination to safety department and take active part
6) To issue Hot work permits and ensure the fire safety is maintained inside the plant premises
7) To take active part during onsite emergency and offsite emergency.
8) To co-ordinate with security department.
9) To co-ordinate with safety department.
4-6 years of experience in fire department. Should be well versed with fire fighting practices and equipment. Predictive, Preventive & Periodic checks of the fire safety equipments.
Automobile/Petroleum/Oil Refinery/Chemical / Pharmaceutical / Power Plants/ Steel & Cement industries or any heavy engineering based manufacturing industry
The applicant should be BSc-Fire / BE- Fire Engineering, Diploma/Certificate in Fire & Safety, should have completed sub officer or station officer course from NFSC.
