Deputy Manager Children's Residential Care, Leyland

Deputy Manager role available in Leyland children's residential care homes. Join RGH Global in supporting a leading provider as Deputy Manager, ensuring high-quality care for young people.

As Deputy Manager, assist the Registered Manager in daily operations, staff management, recruitment, training, and performance oversight. This Deputy Manager position involves maintaining Ofsted standards, safeguarding, care planning, budgeting, and deputising in absence.

Key duties for the Deputy Manager

  • Deliver supportive, homely environment meeting physical/emotional needs
  • Manage shifts, records, risk assessments, and anti-bullying plans
  • Liaise with families, agencies, and community
  • Participate in on-call rota, sleep-ins, and flexible shifts (40 hours average, including nights/weekends)

Deputy Manager requirements:

  • Experience in children's residential care management
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and child protection
