Job Title: Deputy Manager 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Location: Wallasey, Wirral (CH44)

Salary: Approx. £39,120 - £42,057.60 per annum (calculated from the hourly rate below at 160 hours/month, plus sleep-in payments — see breakdown after the advert)

Hourly Rate: £16.25 - £17.78 per hour

Sleep-ins: £60 per night (where applicable)

Service: Children's Home

Service Users: Aged 7 to 17

Qualifications Required: Relevant Level 3 qualification (or working towards it), with a willingness to work towards Level 5

Experience Required: Experience in residential childcare

Who we are looking for:

An experienced residential childcare professional ready to take a Deputy Manager role in a brand-new home. You'll work alongside the Registered Manager to lead the staff team, support young people aged 7 to 17, and help shape the daily culture and standards of the home from day one. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants genuine input into how a new service is run, rather than stepping into an already-established way of doing things.
