Job Description

Mission

The Deputy LSAP assists the Lead SAP ( VEFK ) with preparation and excution of all low/high voltage switch operations and permit to work system. That is including occasionally offshore activities on the substations and windfarms as he is acting as platform manager and platform authorised person.

Permanent; full time; Mo-Fr 40h incl. call on duty periods during onshift

Resposibilities and Functions

  • Daily coordination, communication and planning of HV/MV/LV operations and maintenance activities;

  • Prepare switching schedules for maintenance tasks, installation work, fault location and repair where required.

  • Writing, issuing, reviewing and cancelling Safety Documents as part of the work control / permit to work system.

  • Organize and execute HV switching, isolation, earthing, identification of the point of work and issue of safety documentation duties on HV networks up 220kv in accordance with Safety Rules when required.

  • Contribute to staff training activities under Safety Rules

  • Perform site risk assessments and prepare method statements.

  • Supervise and follow up closely the performance of Service Providers/Contractors for Electrical maintenance equipment: report, analyse and review servicing of the assets.

  • Produce service improvement analysis reports and service performance reviews.

  • Key point of contact for Grid Operator: supported by the Operational Controller as first point of contact.

  • Support the Site Assistant on the management of electrical equipment service and maintenance contractors on a daily basis.

  • Take ownership of the HSE on site especially electrical safety.

  • Senior Authorized representative Safety Rules

  • Keep records on daily activities and performance of subcontractors.

  • Regularly report on defined KPIs trough the Company Standard systems.

  • Document test results and produce site work reports.

  • Supply data for short and long term maintenance planning.

  • Regularly update management on site activities including relevant facts.

  • Maximize Yield Availability and production following the budget established each year.

  • Optimize OPEX: by optimizing Electrical Services maintenance planning’s.

Mandatory Skills

  • Sucessfully completed vocational education as electrician or electrical engineer.

  • Fluent English and German skills, verbal and written.

  • Medical fitness and willingness to work offshore ( only partly )

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operating LV and HV equipment, sub stations or wind turbines.

  • Exellent IT and software skills, familiar with Microsoft 365 products.

  • Become certified as Senior Authorised Person ( Anlagenverantwortlicher ) in accordance with EU legislation and company specific safety rules.

  • Ability to travel in Germany and abroad.

Desirable Skills

  • Switching authorisation 220 kV.

  • Experience in Electrical Maintenance in the offshore wind sector.

  • People management and Contractors’ management experience.

  • Radio license SRC ( short range certificate )

  • Experience in operations of cranes.

  • GWO modules for offshore works.
