We are looking for a deputy head of video to join the Guardian. This role reports to and supports the UK head of video in delivering our video strategy, overseeing daily editorial operations and ensuring the production of high-quality, impactful journalism.
The deputy head of video has particular responsibility for the Guardian’s video news features, leading the delivery of ambitious original journalism on YouTube, establishing a distinctive video proposition that expands the reach and impact of our journalism.
Examples of the video news features team's work include the Green Line series and the On The Ground series, which sees our journalists reporting right from the heart of the action.
This position is offered on a permanent, full-time NUJ contract.
