
[What the role is]
Singapore's parks are evolving into one of the world's most technologically advanced urban green infrastructure systems. We are looking for an experienced operations technology leader to help deliver this transformation by leading a team that develops, pilots, and implements innovative technology solutions across NParks' operations. Working closely with the Director, Operations Technology, you will translate strategy into implementation by managing technology programmes from concept through deployment, working alongside operations teams, technology partners, and vendors to improve productivity, resilience, and service delivery through practical technology adoption. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational problems, leading multidisciplinary teams, and turning innovative ideas into practical solutions.
[What you will be working on]
Lead the delivery of Operations Technology programmes and projects across NParks.
Translate operational challenges into practical technology solutions by working closely with frontline operations teams.
Manage the end-to-end implementation of technology initiatives, from requirements gathering and pilot trials to deployment, user adoption, and continuous improvement.
Lead the Ops Tech team to deliver technology projects on time and within budget.
Work with technology vendors, research partners and contractors to evaluate, test, and implement emerging technologies.
Support the development of technology roadmaps and contribute to long-term operations transformation strategies.
Monitor project outcomes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to drive successful technology adoption.
[What we are looking for]
Around 5–8 years of relevant experience in operations technology, engineering, digital transformation, product implementation, or project delivery.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams or complex technology projects.
Demonstrated experience implementing technology solutions from pilot through deployment and operational adoption.
Experience working with external vendors, system integrators, or technology partners.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery.
Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous: AI, robotics, computer vision, machine learning, or sensors.
