Summary

The Legislative Budget Office (LBO) is seeking to fill the position of deputy director. This is a full-time benefits eligible position. In partnership with the LBO director, the deputy director helps shape the strategic vision of the Office, ensuring fulfillment of its mission and statutory responsibilities. The deputy director manages a team evaluating tax expenditures and providing professional and technical support to the Minnesota Tax Expenditure Review Commission (TERC). In collaboration with the LBO director, this individual helps manage LBO operations, including the coordination and oversight of the fiscal note process for the Minnesota Legislature, managing the local impact note process, and administering a survey regarding health plans in Minnesota school districts and charter schools.
