[What the role is]

You will be responsible for key building projects in CAAS, including overseeing the spatial transformation of the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA). In addition, there will be ongoing improvement projects, maintenance contracts and various day to day coordination with contractors, and internal as well as external stakeholders.

[What you will be working on]

For this role, you will provide expertise and guidance in the SAA spatial transformation project and any works associated with Selarang Fire Training Ground, through stages of development, construction and site works, and fit-outs. This would also include aspects of IT infrastructure provision, project implementation and maintenance, and procurement. You will work closely with external stakeholders, as well as CAAS related divisions to ensure works are completed and delivered safely, promptly and of the highest quality.

You may also be involved in other building projects in CAAS on a need-to basis, such as expansion of the expanded Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre and Changi Control Tower.

You will also oversee other aspects of FM work, which may span from cleaning, horticulture, custodial building maintenance, minor repair works, landscaping, pest control, air conditioning systems, training computers and aids, to security services, key access, fire-fighting equipment and emergency procedures etc, including the appointment of a property managing agent at the new SAA.

[What we are looking for]

• Trained in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Estate Management or other relevant discipline

• At least 8 years of working experience in leadership roles, and in relevant technical areas dealing with IT infrastructure provision, systems design, or external and internal building facility issues, with good project management skills

• Self-motivated, driven, resourceful, with the ability to influence and lead a team

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills

• Knowledge in Public Sector procurement will be an advantage
