This position performs specific assigned clerical and customer service tasks of minimal difficulty under direct supervision. The responsibilities include direct interaction with the public, inputting data into a computer system, and handling important court documents. The primary function of the Probate Support Services is to handle all probate and guardianship matters. The Deputy Court Clerk II files new cases; issues notices, and accurately enters data into an automated system. This position requires the ability to learn how to understand court orders for the purpose of issuing letters in a court case. The ability to effectively communicate procedural information to the public is critical for this position.
