  • Lead the ongoing evolution of governance frameworks and corporate structure to support organisational strategy and growth
  • Continue to evolve governance frameworks as the organisation grows
  • Lift capability, systems and ways of working across the function
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation and with key stakeholders

Requirements for success

We’re looking for an experienced governance leader who is comfortable operating at Board and Executive level, and who enjoys working in a purpose-driven environment.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor of Laws or equivalent legal qualification with a current unrestricted practicing certificate
  • Strong experience in governance, company secretariat or a regulatory environment
  • Company secretarial qualification or accreditation from an appropriate body (e.g., Australian Institute of Company Directors, Governance Institute of Australia / Chartered Secretary) highly desirable.
  • Graduate or Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors or equivalent governance qualification desirable.
  • The credibility and confidence to engage at Board level
  • Sound judgement and the ability to balance risk with practical outcomes
  • Experience leading teams and driving improvement
