The DNC seeks a seasoned Deputy Communications Director for States to oversee the Committee’s state communications program. As part of the DNC’s senior communications team, the Deputy Communications Director for States will manage state and local reporter contacts across the country, find opportunities to insert local narratives into national media, support all 57 Democratic state and territory parties with communications assistance, interface with and support sister committees, and manage the DNC’s state communications team, including a Deputy States Communications Director and Press Assistant.

Qualifications:
Salary The starting salary for the Deputy Communications Director for States position is $120,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, exempt position, that may require work on weekends.
Travel The Deputy Communications Director for States position will require travel, which could be up to 30% of the time.
