Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Our activity is looking for an commodity buyer apprentice for its R&D Center based in Bavans (30 min from Belfort; 15 min from Monbéliard; near Switzerland). The Center R&D from Bavans, with close to 1000 collaborators, develop innovative solutions for sustainable and clean mobility. It is Forvia's global center of expertise on hydrogen storage systems.

Apprenticeship duration 12 months, from 1st September 2026.

As a Commodity Buyer Europe Apprentice you will work closely with program purchasing buyers, series buyers, costing teams and suppliers across the globe. You will actively contribute to commodity purchasing strategy and ensure purchasing targets are achieved.

• Supplier benchmark
• Participate to supplier negotiation
• Lead resourcing actions
• Supplier Panel Management

Reporting:

• Update and monitor KPIs
• Prepare monthly reporting
• Operational support
• Monthly price update
• Blocked invoicesmanagement
• Implementation of factoring solution

Your profile and competencies to succeed

What if it were you?

• 2nd Year of master’s degree
• First experience in automotive or similar industry is a plus
• You are a fluent English speaker
