Are you an experienced sports coach or sports professional who loves working with children and is ready to develop your career in management?

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is looking for a confident, organised and enthusiastic Deputy Club Manager to join our team at Montpelier Primary School in Ealing.

This is more than just a coaching role. You’ll combine your passion for sport with genuine leadership responsibility, helping to organise the team, maintain high standards and step up to lead the setting when required.

With a permanent 30-hour-per-week, 52-week rolling contract, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for greater stability and the chance to build a long-term career in sports, childcare and management.

⭐ What You’ll Be Doing

As our Deputy Club Manager, you’ll work alongside the Club Manager to ensure the smooth and successful running of the setting.

You’ll:

  • Support the Club Manager with the day-to-day operation of the club
  • Help lead, motivate and support a large team of coaches and club staff
  • Organise activities and allocate coaches and team members effectively
  • Help plan and deliver a varied and engaging sports programme
  • Coach and support activities such as football, basketball, netball, dodgeball and multi-sports

  • Support the development of coaches and other team members
  • Create a fun, active and inclusive environment where every child can participate
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety and safeguarding
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, school staff and colleagues
  • Support operational and administrative responsibilities
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures are consistently followed
  • Take responsibility and make confident decisions when required
  • Step up and lead the club in the Club Manager’s absence

  • 📚 A sports-related degree or qualification combined with relevant practical experience

You’ll need to be confident leading or supporting the delivery of sports activities and comfortable helping other coaches and team members deliver engaging, high-quality sessions.
