Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Clerical Supervisor at our Warrnambool site. Reporting to the Assistant Regional Manager, the role of Deputy Clerical Supervisor is to ensure effective and efficient operation of all clerical aspects of a comprehensive imaging practice.

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting, leading, and developing the clerical team to deliver excellent patient care and customer service
  • Answer the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
  • Ensure patient reports are dispatched to the correct location
  • Assume responsibility for the condition of equipment at the time of use and report any faults
  • Participation in our rostering system and manage rosters and leave requests ensuring sufficient staff coverage
  • Encouragement and support of development and education of clerical staff

To be successful, you will have

  • Demonstrated senior receptionist and/or receptionist leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and build effective relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Tech Savvy: Advanced computer literacy and ability to pick things up quickly is essential
  • Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service every time
  • Excellent problem-solving skills i.e. Optimise appointment slots with your analytical skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Growth mindset and positive attitude: A "can-do" attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff, and professionals easily
