The DoIT team at IDOC is seeking to hire a candidate with strong technical and people skills to serve as the Deputy Chief Information Officer. The Deputy Chief Information Officer is responsible for managing technical staff across operational areas of Information Security & Audit Compliance, Financial & Support Services, Customer Service & Training, Technical Management and Program Management. The successful candidate will need to be highly analytical, professional, communicate effectively, and possess excellent organizational skills. The chosen candidate will apply data strategies, improve delivery, and continue to align with enterprise direction to ensure compliance across all systems and applications within DoIT at IDOC. Term Appointment:
Candidates hired into a term position shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and are subject to a probationary period. The term may be renewed for successive four-year terms at the Director of the Department of Innovation and Technology’s discretion.
