We are excited to announce a newly created leadership position: Deputy Area Chief This exciting position will support the leadership and day-to-day operations of our newly renovated Frankston and Somerville clinics.
The Deputy Area Chief supports the Area Chief in the operational, clinical, and leadership oversight of designated IDX sites within a defined geographic or regional area. The role contributes to the efficient delivery of imaging services by supporting workflow coordination, staff engagement, quality assurance, and compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Working collaboratively with the Area Chief, Radiologists, technical, clerical, and nursing teams, the Deputy Area Chief plays a key role in maintaining high standards of patient care and operational performance across all modalities. This position assists in implementing policies, supporting staff development, and addressing day-to-day operational matters to ensure consistent service delivery.

To Be Successful You Will Have
Demonstrated emerging leadership capability, with clear strengths in key areas of team leadership, and the ability and willingness to support, guide, and positively influence a professional imaging team while continuing to develop formal management skills
Currently registered with AHPRA
Developing experience in troubleshooting image quality and workflow challenges, with the ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and contribute to effective solutions
Knowledge of and adherence to regulation and statutory guidelines
Strong communicator with the ability to teach, mentor and give constructive feedback.
Approachable, supportive, and patient-focused
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to continuous improvement, learning and a positive team culture
Experience across a variety of modalities including (but not exclusively); CT, MRI and/or X-Ray (desirable)
