Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day airline catering operations for assigned accounts.
• Ensure flights are provisioned accurately and on time.
• Verify meal quantities, flight sealing, and proper aircraft handovers.
• Make real-time operational decisions to resolve issues and maintain uninterrupted service.
• Coordinate with station teams to ensure on-time performance.
• Directly supervise Flight Coordinators and operational support staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees through ongoing feedback.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address performance concerns.
• Participate in disciplinary actions and employee counseling.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the operation in the absence of the Account Manager.
• Manage operational communications between airline customers and internal departments.
• Coordinate production, packing, dispatch, and delivery teams.
• Ensure accurate communication of flight information and invoicing requirements.
• Support customer issue resolution and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor food production flow and tray-setting timelines.
• Improve operational efficiency and eliminate process bottlenecks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Monitor adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Support regulatory compliance throughout daily operations.
• Monitor daily inventory and equipment availability.
• Assist with monthly inventories.
• Support menu changes and special meal requirements.
• Ensure efficient use of operational resources.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in airline catering or aviation operations.
• Knowledge of airline catering operational processes, operational sequences, and logistics.
• Experience leading and motivating teams through employee coaching, scheduling, performance management, employee development, and conflict resolution.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under pressure, plan and coordinate operations, manage resources, oversee inventory, and drive process improvements through effective problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with strong implementation, execution, and project coordination skills, while maintaining accountability and ownership of operational results.
• Results driven with a strong commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly (and occasionally more as required).
• Working in a loud operational environment.
• Exposure to warehouse, production, airport ramp, outdoor weather, and moving equipment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on operational needs.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Ability to travel locally or to airline client sites as needed

• Salary range: $66,300 - $75,000 annually.
