As a Department Programs Technician (Victim's Advocate), you will serve as a supportive resource for victims and families impacted by violent crime. You will help coordinate information, resources, and communication throughout the investigative process while treating every individual with dignity, empathy, and respect.
Key responsibilities include:
The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, demonstrate empathy while maintaining professional boundaries, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
The selected candidate must obtain Division of Criminal Information (DCI) Certification from the State of North Carolina within the probationary period.
