The Depot Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality home deliveries and pick ups, as well as service at Pick-up Points (PPs). The role focuses on optimising depot operations, leading teams, managing performance, and driving continuous improvement to ensure operational excellence and service quality.

What responsibilities and objectives will you have?

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and regulations across all depot operations.

  • Coordinate and oversee daily depot activities, identifying opportunities for optimisation of human and material resources.

  • Lead, motivate, and support teams, fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative working environment.

  • Encourage continuous development and performance improvement of team members.

  • Define, implement, monitor, and analyse KPIs for the depot, teams, and carriers.

  • Manage and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational and performance reports.

  • Ensure full operational readiness (“mise en place”) for new customers and operational changes.

  • Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
    Objectives

  • Guarantee high-quality standards in deliveries and pick-ups, both at home and at Pick-up Points (PPs).

  • Ensure operational efficiency, performance consistency, and continuous improvement at depot level.

Well, what will the requirements be?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within logistics or transport environments.

  • University degree or higher vocational training related to logistics, transport, operations, or similar fields.

  • Strong knowledge of logistics and operational project management.

  • Proven experience in people management and team leadership.

  • Solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Good understanding of labour law, health & safety, and transport regulations.

  • Advanced level of English (mandatory); French is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
