Completes mail and deposits daily. Completes required reporting for department. Responsible for answering the must answer line in the department. Adds value to the organization and assists internal and external members by performing assigned duties in an accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
• Balances, proofs, and posts mail deposits and payments.
• Process, sorts, logs and distributes all incoming and department mail. Processes return mail. Performs required activities related to processing legal requests including but not limited to subpoenas.
• Supports branch staff and members by phone (meeting phone standards for department) on account issues, account maintenance and assistance with DNA for all deposit accounts.
• Validates member information and processes Verifications of Deposit.
• Performs miscellaneous operations research. As needed 10%
• Supports other departments with excellent service Ongoing
• Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities. Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner. Maintains member, team members and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Treats co-workers and members with respect.
• Supports member relations and events that promotes member centric experiences.
• Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Six months to one-year general financial institution operations experience (including posting payments or deposits to checking and savings accounts)
• Banking or credit union experience
• Internal or external customer/ service experience
• General knowledge of savings and checking accounts (including payments to loans)
• Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Banking or credit union experience
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED.

Pay scale by applicable geographic work location:
• Alaska: Min- $22.00 Mid- $25.46 Mid- $30.56
• Northern California: Min- 22.00 Mid- $25.46 Max- 30.56
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
