Job Description Summary

As a Deployment Product Leader at GE Vernova, you will act as the strategic bridge between customer site realities and the technological evolution of our portfolio. This role is pivotal for introducing innovative solutions to the market, being responsible for translating complex customer requirements into clear Product Requirement Definitions (PRD) and leading the implementation strategy for pilot offerings in real-world environments. You will play a central role in promoting our technology, serving as the lead technical expert at market events, seminars, and high-level discussions with global customers.

Essencial Responsibilities

  • PRD definition: Lead the definition of Product Requirement Definitions (PRD) for new offerings, ensuring rigorous alignment with market needs and end-to-end oversight of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
  • Launch Strategy and Pilot Offerings: Manage the lifecycle of non-standard or emerging solutions, leading pilot offers to validate technical and commercial acceptance prior to full-scale standardization.
  • Customer Engagement and Technical Regulatory Authority: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer visits, trade shows, and seminars. Develop and deliver high-impact technical materials that differentiate our technology from competitors.
  • Market Analysis and Benchmarking: Actively monitor and analyze competitors' product portfolios, identifying market gaps and translating these insights into robust product development plans.
  • Regional Interface Leadership: Guide and coordinate regional Application Engineering networks to ensure technical consistency and excellence in customer support throughout the proposal and implementation lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience with the Product Requirement Definition (PRD) process and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
  • Experience managing early-stage or pilot solutions, with focus on new application development, from the initial "early engagement" with customers, coordination with engineering and other cross-functional departments to develop the proposal, all the way to securing the contract signature.
  • Strong track record of delivering technical presentations to executive audiences, customers, and large groups at industry seminars or trade shows.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in rotating machines and electro-mechanical systems, supported by hands-on experience in developing complex technical and commercial proposals across all major regions.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Fluent English (essential).
  • Previous expertise on application engineering or technical sales for rotating machines and associated systems
  • Experience as a bid coordinator, composing technical and commercial offers for systems using electrical machines (motors, generators, or transformers) and associated balance of plant (BOP), electrical distribution systems, switchgears, automation, thermal management (water, oil and air)
  • Ability to travel for customer in Latina America, Europe, Asia, and North America

Desired Characteristics

  • Post-graduate degree or MBA in Sales & Marketing or Product Management.
  • Established professional relationships across the GE Vernova Electrification business, with a demonstrated ability to leverage deep ties with global sales, application, and engineering teams to drive alignment and project success.
  • Ability to act as a technical authority in ambiguous environments with a focus on solving complex problems.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma methodology).
  • Experience with services and retrofit solutions
  • Experience designing rotating machines
  • Experience working in multicultural, global business environments
  • Experience on STATCOM and BESS systems
  • Spanish speaker
