Experience
Food & Nutrition: minimum of 1 year of healthcare or office experience required Non-Invasive Testing: 1-3 years' experience in medical, customer service setting Non-Invasive Testing: 1-3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred Case Management: 2+ experience in medical, customer service setting preferred Case Management, Endoscopy, OR, PACU, Pain Clinic: knowledge of medical terminology preferred Case Management, Endoscopy, PACU, Pain Clinic: computer knowledge of Microsoft office required Case Management: Kronos experience preferred Endoscopy, OR, PACU, Pain Clinic: experience in medical, customer service setting 1-2 years preferred OR: computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and Epic preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Food & Nutrition: • Staff adheres to all C.A.R.E. Standards • Independent judgment required. • Strong decision-making skills are necessary. • Must be able to read and write in English. • Must be able to communicate in English. • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to use a calculator and make change. • Ability to pleasantly and effectively handle multiple phone lines and voice mail. • Must have basic computer skills in order to be able to use various computer programs/systems within the hospital. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. • Must be able to follow lengthy, detailed instructions • Must be able to read standard size font of Diet Office meal-ordering software and Cafeteria POS software.
- Non-Invasive Testing: • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is preferred • Experience with Epic is preferred • Ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly as situations arise • Knowledge of standard office equipment • Professional and confidential telephone skills • Can troubleshoot registration errors and establish a professional relationship with various scheduling departments
- Case Management: • Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff. • The ability to work as a team member, promoting a caring and collegial attitude toward fellow employees. • The ability to work under stressful conditions, adapting to the changing pace on the unit, frequent interruptions, emergencies, and acutely ill patients. • Ability to work independently, with well-developed organizational skills in order to prioritize tasks. • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff through voice mail, e-mail, etc. • Demonstration of flexibility and willingness to adapt to diverse role as a member of the team. • Ability to assist lifting and carrying linens up to 20 lbs. • Demonstrated customer service skills.
