Cleveland Clinic Florida is looking to add a Department Manager I to the team who will overseeSt. Lucie WestMedical Centeralong with the future Family Health Center (FHC) being built on Becker Road, with a projected opening date in 2027.The St. Lucie West location is a multi-specialty FHC attached to an Emergency Room with teams supporting all aspects of patient registration, check-in, check-out, scheduling and all associated responsibilities and tasks.In this role, you will standardize workflows to reduce barriers to achieving metrics, involve yourself in caregiverescalationsand work through HR processesregardingstaffing,performanceand patient experience. It will be your goal to ensure that caregivers and providers have the support,toolsand resources to help meet patient needs, requiring this caregiver to be emotionally intelligent, comfortable leadingchangeand driven for results. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Availability to virtually support teams on Saturdays and evenings will berequired, as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage department operations and personnel.
Complete staffing, training, workflowanalysisand performance management.
Manage staffing to ensureappropriate allocationand compliance with goals andobjectives
Monitor quality and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, qualityrequirementsand customer service standards.
Recommend enhancement and cost-saving strategies.
Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality,procedureand policy application.
Develop, monitor and implement programs to enhance customer service, developskillsand improve scope of service.
Analyze programs and make improvements.
Participate in manager meetings and relevant committees as assigned by Director.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate’s Degreeand three years of team lead,supervisoror manager experience
ORHigh School Diploma/GED and five years of experience
ORBachelor’s Degreeand one year of experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or a related field
Healthcare experience
