Job Description

The Advanced AI & Agentic Solutions CoE Department Manager leads the Agentic CoE and Advanced AI delivery capability, owning the design, build, and enablement of agentic AI solutions from prototype through scalable production deployment. The Department Manager drives solution architecture, reusable patterns, delivery standards, and cross-functional execution across business use cases, data engineering, platform teams, and vendors.

This role ensures agentic AI solutions are designed consistently, delivered at scale, reusable across the enterprise, and transitioned cleanly into production support.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead agentic AI solution delivery across prototypes, POCs, pilots, and production use cases
  • Own reusable agentic patterns for prompts, tools, actions, orchestration, integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls
  • Drive solution design and architecture in alignment with enterprise standards, NFRs, security, governance, and platform capabilities
  • Coordinate Agentic Solution CoE, AI architecture, use-case data engineering, and interim run-support activities
  • Ensure use cases have clear technical design, data readiness, delivery plans, acceptance criteria, and production handover paths
  • Partner with Product Governance on testing, validation, monitoring feedback, release readiness, and remediation
  • Define the transition path from manual delivery support to scalable Agentic-First delivery and automation
  • Lead and develop a team of managers through coaching, performance management, and effective work assignment to drive aligned execution and business outcomes

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant full-time work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Information Systems or related business or technology aligned field and a minimum of 10 years relevant full time work experience leading enterprise AI and agentic solutions from architecture through production deployment in complex, regulated environments

Relevant Work Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience delivering AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions from concept through production deployment in complex enterprise environments, preferred
  • Proven experience leading cross functional technical teams responsible for solution architecture, engineering delivery, and operationalization of AI or automation platforms, preferred
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI or agentic systems including prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, API/tool integrations, and human in the loop workflows, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience establishing reusable architecture patterns, delivery standards, and governance practices for scalable AI or digital platform solutions, preferred
  • Experience coordinating across product, data engineering, platform teams, and vendors to deliver enterprise technology solutions aligned with security, compliance, and non functional requirements, preferred
  • Track record of leading teams through prototype, proof-of-concept, pilot, and full production rollout while enabling operational support and long term platform scalability, preferred

Physical Demands

  • Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

Additional Physical Demands

  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work off-hours as required to support deployments, help resolve production problems or respond to corporate emergencies
