
Manages sales activities in assigned retail and/ or mall services departments. Ensures department s are appropriately stocked attractively displayed and adequately staffed to achieve sales goals and service standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for department level execution of retail and or assigned mall services business strategies procedures and policies.
3 YEARS GENERAL EXPERIENCE Experience which was gained in administrative, clerica,l retail sales or other related work which enabled the applicant to gain knowledge of selling floor operation practices and procedures skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgment. Services/barbershop/salon management experience Preferred
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE
1 year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for each 9 months of experience. Substitution of 1 year for 1 year in those instances where co-op experience is required of a student as part of the program study.
AND 1 YEAR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Progressive experience which provided background in merchandise controls inventory stock record keeping and reports exempt or non-exempt supervisory experience merchandise display and retail promotions or experience in the area of customer relations in an effort to improve sales and maintain operating cost efficiencies.
