Reports To: Site Head
Location: Rayong, Thailand
Job Purpose

Lead the setup of quality control infrastructure during the Green Field Project phase and manage Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and QMS implementation once operations begin.

Key Responsibilities

During Project Phase:

• Set up the QC infrastructure, ensuring all testing equipment is procured, installed, and calibrated on time.
• Work closely with the engineering and construction teams to maintain quality standards and meet project timelines.

During Operations Phase:

• Oversee QC lab operations, ensuring accurate testing and quality control of both raw materials and finished products.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Work with customers to understand and meet their quality expectations while addressing any concerns proactively.
• Lead QMS implementation, ensuring process control, regulatory compliance, and successful audits.

Key Challenges

• Quickly understanding project progress, technology, and engineering designs.
• Achieving high customer satisfaction with minimal quality complaints.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors/Masters in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 18+ years of experience in Quality Management, including at least 5 years leading QA/QC in the chemical, carbon black, or auto components industry.
• Experience in Green Field projects is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and Statistical Tools (7 QC tools, MSA).
• Expertise in RCA, CAPA, and customer handling.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification is preferred.

Behavioral Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a customer-centric approach.

Other Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a Green Field project environment.
• Willing to travel to customer and supplier locations when needed.
