Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 2 (Hourly)

The Brown Cancer Center (BCC) Clinical Trials Program (CTP) is seeking a Department Coordinator II to provide administrative and operational support to the management and staff of the Clinical Trials Program of the BCC and represent the CTP and the BCC professionally.

Essential Duties:

  • Provides administrative support for Associate Director, BCC Clinical Research Program and Clinical Trials Office Staff, including, but not limited to, greeting visitors, calendar management, phone messages, faxing, written correspondence, proofreading, sorting of incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Provides administrative assistance for the Clinical and Scientific Research Committee (CSRC). Prepares and manages membership and credentialling applications.

  • Maintains departmental procurement card, reallocate expenditures, and maintains spreadsheet of monthly purchases. Orders supplies for department as well as oversight of copier, fax and printer maintenance.

  • Document management including organizing, tracking and uploading to appropriate drives and CTP Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS).

  • Event planning including scheduling and coordinating various meetings, schedules and coordinates meetings, monitoring visits, audit visits, interviews, appointments, events and other similar activities; and makes travel and lodging arrangements.

  • Maintain and update archival study list. Schedules pick-ups and retrieval of archival documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years related experience in a clinical trials program office.

  • 2+ years related experience providing clerical/administrative support in a medical setting.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Target Compensation Maximum:

$25.39

Target Compensation Minimum:

$16.93

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
