Job Description

Dauphin County Domestic Relations is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position Department Clerk 2. The employee in this position is responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical support services related to the establishment or enforcement of support orders. In addition to utilizing and updating the statewide computerized child support database, the position requires preparing, scheduling, and processing cases; documenting case resolutions; attending court proceedings; assisting with research, case management, and compliance; and communicating with clients, other agencies, and the public. Ensures adherence to standards and schedules prescribed by Federal, State and County authorities.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

High School Diploma or an Equivalency exam.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a professional office environment; must have adequate knowledge of computer skills; and be capable of operating general office machines.

This is a union position. The starting hourly rate is $16.03/$33,342 annually.
