Job Description

The Senior Associate, Event Management Operations is responsible for supporting the enterprise Event Management platform and associated operational processes. This role partners closely with Monitoring, Infrastructure, Application, and Platform Engineering teams to onboard new event sources, maintain event quality, support platform operations, and drive service reliability improvements.

• Partner with monitoring teams to onboard new applications, services, and infrastructure into the Event Management platform.
• Work with stakeholders to define event requirements, routing, enrichment, correlation, and incident generation rules.
• Validate event ingestion, event quality, alert creation, and downstream integrations.
• Support implementation of monitoring and observability initiatives by ensuring operational readiness within Event Management.
• Assist with event standardization efforts across various monitoring platforms.
• Administer and support enterprise Event Management platforms and integrations.
• Monitor platform health and availability to ensure reliable event processing.
• Perform configuration changes, maintenance activities, and operational support tasks.
• Investigate event flow issues including event ingestion failures, routing problems, deduplication issues, and ticket creation failures.
• Support platform upgrades, migrations, testing, and deployment activities.
• Assist with major incident response activities and service restoration efforts.
• Troubleshoot event management related issues impacting operational teams.
• Support escalation activities and coordinate with technical support teams during service disruptions.
• Identify opportunities to improve event quality, reduce operational noise, and increase automation.
• Support implementation of event correlation, enrichment, and routing enhancements.
• Develop operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
• Assist in metrics collection and reporting related to platform performance and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations, monitoring, event management, or observability platforms.
• Experience working with incident management, change management, and production support processes.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and monitoring technologies.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or REST APIs.
• Linux and Windows OS proficiency
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple technical teams.
