Who are we looking for?

We are seeking qualified and registered Dental Officers who are interested in being considered for future roles delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred dental care within a public oral health setting.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Provide safe, effective general dental care to a diverse patient group
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary dental team
  • Deliver care to patients with complex or special needs
  • Support the development of students, new graduates and other clinical staff

S alary: $133,004 - $204,458 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Dental Officers Agreement 2025

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

  • Registered with the Dental Board of Australia

  • Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.
