Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician III opportunity specializing in denture fabrication at NDX Dresch Dental Laboratory in Sylvania, OH

The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from the dentist
• Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins
• Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship
• Post dam upper models
• Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship
• Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade
• Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics
• When setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up; Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved
• Maintain a clean work area
• All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Set Up (select and setup teeth)
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Detail oriented

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience as a member of a denture fabrication department - preferably skilled in teeth setting

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

• Small machinery
• Hand pieces
• Chemicals

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Good manual dexterity
• Repeated bending and kneeling
• Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color
• Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
