Dental Laboratory Full Technician | Full & Partial Denture Technician
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Dental Laboratory Full Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and finishing of full and partial dentures from start to finish, including tooth setup, waxing, wire bending, processing, finishing, and repairs.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in denture fabrication, strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented dental laboratory environment.
Essential Functions
• Fabricate full and partial dentures from start to finish according to established laboratory and clinical standards.
• Perform denture tooth setup, waxing, wire bending, finishing, and processing.
• Complete denture relines, repairs, occlusal rims, and custom trays.
• Ensure dental prosthetics meet quality, fit, function, and aesthetic expectations.
• Work collaboratively with dentists, clinical teams, and other dental laboratory technicians to complete cases accurately and efficiently.
• Follow established laboratory procedures, safety standards, and OSHA protocols.
• Serve periodically as Associate Lab Manager in the manager's absence.
• Willingness to cross-train in all areas of the dental laboratory and support team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience & Qualifications
• Previous professional experience fabricating full and partial dentures from start to finish required.
• Hands-on experience with denture processing, finishing, repairs, relines, and related laboratory procedures.
• Same-day denture experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to successfully complete a dental laboratory bench assessment is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and dental laboratory safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dental prosthetics.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team-oriented dental laboratory environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Schedule
• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Schedule will align with the regular business hours of the dental laboratory and practice.
