Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), you play a critical role in promoting oral health & preventing dental diseases. We are counting on you to help our patients by:
· Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments: Reviewing medical histories, taking dental x-rays, and assessing oral health conditions.
· Dental Cleanings & Periodontal Care: Prophylaxis Cleanings, Scaling & Root Planning, Polishing, treating periodontal diseases, placing sealants, administering localized antibiotics, assisting with anesthetic, etc.
· Patient Education: Providing oral hygiene instructions, nutritional counseling, and guidance on preventive measures to maintain optimal oral health. Educating patients on proper brushing, flossing, and other home care techniques.
**This position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other Fridays
9am-6pm
Hourly Rate: $33.85 -$43.31 $2,500 SIGN ON BONUS

· Responsibilities
· Conduct thorough patient assessments and record medical histories.
· Perform dental cleanings and provide preventive care education to patients.
· Utilize dental software for patient management and documentation.
· Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
· Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
· Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
· Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
· Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
· Strong understanding of anatomy as it relates to oral health.
· Proficiency in patient care techniques and assessment methods.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Skills
· Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
· In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
· Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
· Outstanding communication skills
· A patient and friendly personality
· Attention to detail
· Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
· Diploma in Dental Hygiene
· Dentrix experience
· EHR experience preferred
· Valid license to practice
· A self-driven individual who is willing to help in times in areas outside of hygiene when the time permits
· Associate’s Degree
· Registered Dental Hygiene active state license, included but not limited to, radiograph, CPR, and local anesthesia state required certifications.
