We offer a full range of treatments, including cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics, periodontal and endodontic care, all within a modern, well-equipped practice.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Dental Hygienist to join us on a Tuesday for 12 months, on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care while enjoying clinical autonomy in an inclusive and professional environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hygiene treatments, including scaling, root planing and preventative care
• Carry out detailed patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical records
• Use modern equipment such as EMS Airflow, Cavitron and intra-oral cameras with confidence
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health in a clear, supportive way
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilisation procedures
• Work closely with dentists and colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
• Manage your clinical diary effectively to optimise patient flow
• Contribute positively to a supportive, team-oriented environment
• Stay up to date with ongoing professional development

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Current HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Proficiency with modern dental equipment and software
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach

Desirable:

• Experience in private practice
• Knowledge of periodontal treatment approaches
• Familiarity with dental software systems
• Commitment to CPD and ongoing learning
• Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues
