Fort Dodge Dental Associates and Pocahontas Dental Associates are looking for a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our teams in a unique hybrid role!

This position is a great opportunity for a hygienist looking for variety and flexibility while still being part of consistent, supportive dental teams. The position will work between our Fort Dodge and Pocahontas locations, with the schedule customized based on availability and office needs.

Position Details

Position: Dental Hygienist – Hybrid Location

Locations: Fort Dodge Dental Associates & Pocahontas Dental Associates

Schedule: Approximately 1–2 days per week in Fort Dodge and 1–2 days per week in Pocahontas

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience

What You'll Do

• Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings
• Take dental radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Partner with our dentists to identify and address oral health concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Build relationships with patients while providing exceptional care
• Collaborate with team members at both locations

What We're Looking For

• Current Iowa Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-focused and dependable
• Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple dental teams
• Dental software experience preferred
• New graduates are encouraged to apply!
