Dental Hygienist

Department: Hygiene

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Naperville, IL

Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 / hour

At Thomas Brown Dentistry, we've proudly served Naperville and the surrounding communities for more than 30 years by providing exceptional, patient-centered dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our well-established practice combines modern technology with a collaborative team culture where every team member is valued and encouraged to grow. We're looking for a compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and building lasting relationships with patients.

Schedule
Full-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
  • Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
  • Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
  • Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
