About the Role Eagle's Landing Periodontics - Georgia

Eagles Landing Periodontics is seeking a professional, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing periodontal team. This role is ideal for a hygienist who is comfortable working in a specialty environment and values collaboration, efficiency, and high-quality patient care.

The hygienist will work closely with the periodontist and clinical team to support periodontal maintenance, patient education, and treatment-focused hygiene care.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal maintenance and dental prophylaxis procedures
• Conduct periodontal charting and clinical assessments
• Take diagnostic radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health
• Assist in identifying and discussing treatment needs with patients
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to support patient flow and care quality

Requirements

• Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license
• Local anesthesia certification (if applicable by state requirements)
• Strong periodontal knowledge and patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a specialty periodontal environment
• Experience with periodontal maintenance and SRP preferred
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
