Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and friendly Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this critical role, you will create a positive first impression for our patients, manage daily administrative operations, and ensure our office runs seamlessly. No prior dental experience is required-we are fully prepared to train the right candidate with a great attitude!

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Experience: Greet patients with a warm, professional smile and efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes.
  • Scheduling Management: Optimize and manage appointment calendars to ensure efficient use of our providers' time.
  • Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phone calls with professionalism, address patient inquiries, and manage office correspondence.
  • Insurance & Billing Support: Coordinate with dental insurance companies, verify patient benefits, and assist with claim processing.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, precise, and confidential patient records within our practice management software.
  • Office Operations: Assist in tracking office inventory, ordering front-desk supplies, and keeping the reception area neat and welcoming.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a dental front office setting is required. Additional background in customer service or healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
  • Organization: Strong multi-tasking capabilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and solid time-management skills.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning new computer software and handling multi-line phone systems (training on dental software will be provided).
  • Attributes: A positive attitude, strong reliability, and a passion for working collaboratively in a team environment.
