Responsibilities
As a key member of our administrative team, you will:
Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments
Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments
Collect patient information and maintain accurate records
Check patients in and out while ensuring an exceptional patient experience
Coordinate treatment schedules and assist with patient follow-up
Process insurance information and assist with claim-related inquiries
Maintain accurate electronic patient records
Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and financial responsibilities
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
Required
1–3 years of Dental Front Desk or Dental Receptionist experience
Experience with dental insurance verification and benefit breakdowns
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service and patient relations skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficiency with dental practice management software
Preferred
Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental software
Experience in a fast-paced private practice setting
Knowledge of treatment coordination and scheduling best practices
